Tangy Fattoush Salad
Fattoush is one of the most refreshing and flavorful Middle Eastern Salads you ever did try.
1 head of romaine lettuce
4 large tomatoes, chopped
1 cucumber, chopped
1 red onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 cup parsley, chopped
1/2 cup mint leaves, chopped
4 pita breads, cut into 1-inch pieces and toasted
3 tbsp Maalouf Olive Oil
1 tbsp Mymoune Sumac
Juice of 2 lemons
2 tbsp Mymoune Pomegranate Molasses
Wajd Sea Salt and pepper to taste
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, green bell pepper, parsley, and mint.
Add the toasted pita pieces to the bowl and mix well.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, pomegranate molasses, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
Pour the dressing over the salad and mix until evenly coated.
Let the salad sit for 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
