Indigenous pomegranate varieties, grown exclusively on the Maalouf Estate in Koura, are carefully selected and harvested in September to create this delicate balance of sweet and sour in this exquisite molasses. The juice is boiled in large pots over olive-wood fire to thicken, without any additional components. The hint of sour flavor can make this product great for dipping, salad dressings, grilled vegetables and veal and chicken dishes.
